Responsible for electrical inspection with offshore oil and gas industry and exposure to mechanical inspections also to carry out inspections for its wide client base dealing in Oil, gas and mining industry.
The Candidate shall be visiting various manufacturing locations and construction onshore as well as offshore sites in and outside Australia for durations as per requirements and carrying out inspections as per client specifications, Australian and international standards.
Responsible for preparing precise and accurate reports highlighting various salient points on a frequency as per client requirements in their respective formats.
He has to deal with various aspects of inspection and handle talks diligently and diplomatically and ensuring compliance to various requirements, and if there is a deviation shall reports timely and efficiently.
The Candidate must have extensive Quality assurance and control experience related to Oil and Gas Construction projects.
Candidate should have extensive knowledge of aspects of Quality control and FAT for various high voltage machinery; switch boards, EX rated offshore equipment, motors, controls, skids, Rigs etc.
He should be aware of project Electrical Quality assurance and control from initial commencement to commissioning.
Should be competent to carryout visits to manufacturer locations prior to shipment and ensure compliance.
Prefer candidate to have sufficient exposure and understanding of Quality control of mechanical equipment such as vessel, gears etc. to enable utilization as per requirement.
Australian standards are different in many aspects from international standards; the candidate shall be willing to learn the Australian standards of working, inspections. He must be positive and have flexible attitude towards work and safety.
Preference will be given to candidates with a profile from third party inspection background.
The profile requires extensive travel via personal car and other modes of transport in case outside Perth.
Candidate has to be physically fit with no medical conditions associated with him or his family members (in case planning to come with the family). An undertaking in this regards shall be given on notary paper prior to final selection as a proof of the same.
