THE OPPORTUNITY:
Located in our Grande Prairie field office, the Facilities Engineer will manage the engineering and construction of small to large projects on new and existing gas and oil properties, focusing on quality control, schedule and budget. You will be responsible for ensuring all projects are initiated and executed in a safe, accurate and timely manner and in compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE YOUR MARK?
o Handle FCR facility projects for operations. These may include mechanical, programming and PLC upgrades/replacements, logic, permits and regulatory applications
o Work on smaller facility projects as directed by Facilities Manager
o Perform process modeling for operations and plant performance optimization
o Capture shutdown keys for all facilities, review logic for safety and integrity
o Coordinate facility P&ID updates, ensure consistency with shut down logic
o Liaise with IS regarding remote programming and ensuring latest shutdown logic is on file and available while maintaining shutdown logic files
o Assist operations with turnaround tasks (as per FCR protocol)
o Review newly acquired properties, review shutdown logic/P&IDs, witness shutdown logic ring out, correct as required, ensure safe and complete shutdown logic
o Assist operations with preventative maintenance programs from an equipment perspective
o Provide general technical support for operations in terms of code, material spec, trouble shooting and problem solving facility issues, regulations
o Manage annual DEOS data sheets for dehydrators

QUALIFICATIONS:
o Typically 7+ years of related industry experience with Engineering degree
o Familiarity with and understanding of:
o Design and construction of Oil and Gas production facilities
o Spreadsheet and engineering software applications
