Position:  Logistics Operations Manager - Kazakhstan, Almaty City

Major duties and responsibilities

·         Oversee and manage all Country logistics operations.

·         Review operations standard operating procedures and implement corrective actions if needed.

·         Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of all operations staff in the location.

·         Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.

·         Focus on execution of operations in territory (as well as into, out of and / or through).

·         Stay current on customer and industry trends.

·         Provide excellent Customer Service to ensure customer issues are resolved.

·         Assist in development of forms and tools to increase company efficiency and risk management.

·         Use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles in logistics operations activity and procedures.

·         Investigate, plan and implement strategically effective and relevant transport methods,

 which meet optimally the needs of the organization and its suppliers and customers.

·         Review pricing for logistics (vendor costs, margins, overhead costs) and offer solutions to improving profitability and operations.

Qualifications: 

        English language knowledge (advanced level, written and spoken).
        MS office knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
        Minimum 2 years experience working in Logistis industry.
        Minimum 3 years experience working in International environment preferred.
        Minimum 5 years Operation Coordination experience.
        University degree.
