- Responsible for marketing / sales / Business development for the steel products like Colour Coated line, CCL Hot Rolled Coils (HRC), Cold Rolled Coils (CRC), Galvanized Plain Steel Coils/Sheets (GPS & GPC), Galvanized Corrugated Sheets (GCS), Pre Painted Color Coated Coils (PPGI), Pre Painted Color Coated Sheets, Perforated Sheets, Trapezoidal Profile Sheets, Roofing & Cladding Accessories, Slits & Baby Coils, Aluminum Rolls & Sheets etc.
- Establish/Developing business as well as increasing share in new/existing markets mainly South East Asia , Middle East Countries, African Countries.
- Developing Export - import trading business for between India and China/Africa
- Inventory control and international logistic management
- Co-ordination with manufacturing team and production planning .
- Follow up for payment and treasury management with local banks.
- Participating in International Trade Fairs and networking in the industry
- Handling customer complaints upto their utmost satisfaction
- Monthly performance report, customer analysis, market trend.
- Responsible for maintaining high customer relationship with all the customers and ensuring customer satisfaction by on time delivery by dispatching materials.
- Excellent negotiating skills for the price, lead time and inducing client to give the business. And Delivery (terms and condition of supply, transportation and payments.), Sales Coordination & Follow up for Payments.
- Identifying prospective clients, mapping their requirements & coordinating for new business opportunities.
- Identifying potential clients from various sectors in different locations and generating business from them, thereby achieve business targets.
- Provide professional quotes in a timely manner. Fill out sales orders completely, both product and pricing information.
- Processing the new order and checking whether the order is issued as per the offer sent. And clarify any discrepancies arising between the offer and the order.
- Passing the order information to the planning person so that necessary instruction is issuing to various department for processing the order.
- Handling Quality Complaint for both OEMs and Trade Market through out the territory.
- Documentation preparation related to customer's special requirements.
- Develop strong relationships with our key customers through timely calls, regular visits on prospects.
- Played a key role in regular follow up and revenue generation with the clients by tale-conversation
- Collecting and evaluating market information on pricing, competitive forces etc.
- Managing team/operations according to the Corporation's business rules and codes of ethics.
- Supervising the dispatch of material with the logistics department.
- Hand - in - Hand communication with finance department for payments and out standings.
- Hands on experience on working with oracle ERP systems for taking inward, sales orders, delivery orders, commercial invoice and excise invoices.
- Should be any Graduate (Preferably Engineering) with MBA / PGDM - Marketing.
- Should have good exposure of Business Development in African Countries.
- Should have good knowledge of Sales & Marketing of Aluminum Rolls & Sheets.
- Should have good knowledge of Steel Market.
- Focused on new Business Development :
- Preparing pricing modules for new business in accordance to market trends and in compliance to realization guidelines from top management.
- Market research from Primary / Secondary sources.
- Development of new customers / channels / Agents / Traders base for promoting the business.
- Techno-commercial discussion with customers for finalizing the orders.
- Presenting analysis chart for business development activity in decision making.
