- To familiar with international design codes and standards such as ASME and API.
- To understand P & ID, mechanical drawings, process and instrument diagrams.
- Planning and preparation of work scope for TAR.
- Ability to perform failure root cause analysis on mechanical related equipments.
- Coordinate work done by the contractors, review their performance and continuous seek of competence contractors.
- Demonstrate compliance in the HSE requirements in the work place.
- Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation immediately it occurs and notify staff of potential danger.
- To appraise, coach, council and develop team members to help them improve their performance.
- To establish close relationship with respective Local Authorities as to ensure that requirement are satisfied.
- To assist in the preparation and management of departmental budgets
D] Others
- Processing of mechanical related purchase request in accordance to departmental and companys Material and Controls guidelines.
- To provide/perform other responsibilities as required from time to time by the Company.
Educational Qualification
A degree is required in Mechanical or Chartered engineering
Essential Skills & Job Requirement
3-6 years of experience in Petrochemical Plant with Good Communication skills and ability to work well with others
Strong interpersonal skills is essential with ability to develop effective working relationships with people at various levels and cultural origin
Technical Competencies
The post holder has strong technical skills with the technical breadth to enable cross-disciplinary working and ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations
The post holder also has the ability to build and maintain interpersonal relationships with a wide range of people in a wide range of cultural environments
