We have a sustained and successful history of marketing quality products to numerous sectors in Australasia, USA and Europe. Industries include petrochemical, marine, defense, food processing, mining, and hand-tool along with other sectors. The appointee will be part of a team that provides technical advice to both internal and external parties. This role will facilitate and further advance the companys strategic intent to offer technically advanced product solutions for customers. The role will also be a watching brief for technological enhancements and the person will be pivotal in balancing technical and productivity priorities.
We are looking for a tertiary qualification in process metallurgy. Experience within a foundry or ferrous metal operation is required including experience in melt practice, heat treatment, mechanical testing, NDT and metallographic techniques. Comprehensive Investment Casting experience would be highly desirable.
Expressions of interest from candidates outside New Zealand will also be welcomed.
