MEP QS Managers / Sr. Quantity Surveyors

• Liaise closely with the Project Manager on all commercial matters to jointly obtain maximum commercial benefit from a project.
• Liaise with the Project Manager to prepare draft sub-contract documentation (including bid tabs/analysis) and to assist the Project Manager in obtaining the best commercial and technical deal available in the market. The quality assurance requirements of sub-contracts must be addressed.
• Produce monthly operating statements by prescribed dates and to discuss the commercial implications of that statement with the Project Manager to ensure there is an understanding of the commercial position of the Project.
• Undertake re-measurement and prepare, submit and agree monthly valuations, variations and final accounts. Interim accounts shall also be discussed with the Project Manager to allow engineering staff input. Awareness of site activities is fundamental.
• Prepare cash flows and claims documentation.
• Check that numbers of resources (labour, plant, and staff) and hours being worked are within tender/CTC allowances and review with the Project Manager. Identify areas of waste or loss on resources and advise the Project Manager.
• Monitor all Project correspondence for commercial issues and initiate commercial correspondence.
• Ensure site documentation is properly archived at Head Office at the end of the project.
• Ensure timely notices of default are issued to subcontractors and suppliers in accordance with terms of their Order or Sub-contract.
• Identify areas of commercial risk on the Project as early as possible and review with the Project Manager ways of avoiding that risk.

Manager - Fire Fighting Systems  

• To act as the project team leader controlling all aspects of the Fire Fighting works including design, planning, engineering, procurement, commercial, execution, testing & commissioning, documentation and handover to the client.
• Delegate work to the project team and monitor the progress to completion.
• Ensure the works comply with the contract documents including drawings and specifications.
• Ensure that the works are completed on time, notifying the client of any delays and valuing the costs associated with the delays, with QS coordination.
• Maintain good relationships with the client and develop a professional team to establish the company (BEC) as the contractor of choice. 

Graduate / Diploma Engineers with 15 20 years of experience on project management of Fire Fighting systems in the region on airport/ large projects like mixed-use development / mega hospitals / malls. Candidates should be familiar with relevant standards/procedures and capable of independently interacting with international consultants /clients for hand over and closing out all systems including specialist systems.

Commissioning Engineer - MEP

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and update commissioning programmes.
* Ensure the installation is installed correctly to comply with the commissionability and maintainability of the systems.
* Carry out witnessing of test to ensure systems are ready for commissioning.
* Monitor commissioning progress and resolve any problems that may arise.
* Attend & Hold commissioning meetings to highlight any constraints.
* Demonstrating the system functional performance to the client/consultant.
* Produce information required for O&M manuals. Ensure requirements are met for the handover stage of the project

Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical engineering with 5- 15 years of experience in installation, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning & operation of large size heating, ventilation & air conditioning systems comprising of chillers, HVAC equipment, cooling towers, piping and building management systems as well as Low Voltage (415V) Electrical System comprising of Main panels, SMDB/DB, Lighting & Small Power System and other low current system like BMS & SCADA, Fire Alarm, IT Passive System, Landside Traffic Management System, Dimming & Lighting Control, etc. 

Commissioning Manager

* Develop HVAC commissioning Method Statement and Review Commissioning Method Statements of MEP works prior to final submission to client consultant.
* Develop Commissioning schedule and completion base on Project construction schedules.
* Direct supervision of Plant engineer, ELV Engineers, MEP Engineers and HVAC Air & Water balancing team.
* Represent the company in all Project meetings.
* Commissioning Management and direct site supervision of HVAC systems, commissioning including Air & Water balancing according to acceptable standards.
* Commissioning Site Management of MEP services by checking installations progress according to specifications and design.
* Witnessing of testing & commissioning of systems data prior to final inspection by the client representative management team.
* Management of MEP Systems Integrated Handover documents for client Handover requirements. This includes Operations & Maintenance Manual with commissioning Test Packs.
* Assists and provide technical assistance during TESTING & COMMISSIONING for MEP works.
* Ensures that As Built Drawings and O & M Manuals and related documentation are prepared, reviewed, submitted and approved in a timely manner and in accordance with contract requirements. 

Graduate Engineers with 15 - 25 years of experience with focus on testing & commissioning in the region on airport/ large projects like mixed use development/mega hospitals/malls would fit the profile. Candidates should be familiar with relevant standards/procedures and capable of independently interacting with international consultants /clients for hand over and closing out all systems including specialist systems.

  
MEP - QA/QC Inspector / Supervisor (Electrical) 

* Inspection of all incoming LV materials, external electrical like SLS, bridges, Leak detection panels, chilled water piping, CPCMS etc.
* Prepare all necessary documents and attachments for the inspection and testing requirement of electrical system.
* Review the electrical check list, as built drawing and related quality control documents for final drossier.
* Site inspection and co-ordinate to construction to implement the work completed in complies with code in accordance with specification.
* Coordinate with client for inspection activities issued RFI (Request for inspection) for witness/hold point etc.
* At site inspection time, following safety rules & regulation at different hazards area.
* Overall quality supervision for MEP works.

Diploma Electrical Engineers with 5-10 years of experience in Quality Management System especially in electrical (Building Services) works of large multi-disciplined commercial or industrial projects like Airports, hotels, hospitals, shopping malls, etc.

Sr. Project Engineer / Project Engineer - Electrical Retrofitting

• Preparation of Project Planning, scheduling and Monthly Progress Reports.
• Follow up with vendors and consultants regarding Engineering activities and coordination with the vendors for timely manufacturing and the delivery of equipment to the site. Inspection of Invoices after delivery of material to site.
• Responsible for site inspection and preparing reports and documentation of site inspection.
• Every day Site Execution work progress Monitoring & Preparation of site progress report to submit customer to meet customer satisfaction with proper safety at site i.e. overall site work monitoring.
• Arranging for mobilization of vendor / contractor at site.
• Coordination with site regarding Erection and commissioning of equipments as per protocol and final documentation for handover of project.
• Managing the project operations with a view to ensure timely accomplishment of project targets within the time and cost parameters.

Graduate Electrical Engineers with 5-10 years of experience in of Construction of Transmission and Distribution Projects comprising sub-stations and Industrial Projects. 

MEP - QA/QC Manager / Engineer

• Development and Implementation of Project Specific Contract Quality Plan, Procedure, work instructions and quality Control plans.
• Ensuring maintenance of Company's QMS in compliance with ISO 9000.
• Ensuring use of latest approved shop drawings for construction at project sites.
• Ensuring inspection of material received at site after receipts.
• Ensuring use of latest revision of all Contract Documents, Contract Specifications and engineering reference and Standards.
• Internal Auditing, Verification of quality records and follow up of corrective actions, at Various MEP projects Sites.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Main contractor's MEP coordinators for smooth implementation of Quality system.
• Tracking of Testing Equipments and Instruments for Calibration Records.
• Ensuring the maintenance of signed off Inspections and Test records.
• Identification, investigation resolution and close out of non conformities.
• Identifying training needs of personnel and provide training on Quality Management.
• Maintain Training Records.
• Ensuring the smooth handing over documentation for completed projects.
• Maintain good relationships with the client and develop a professional team to establish the company (BEC) as the contractor of choice.

Manage and Implement Company's Quality Management System especially in MEP & HVAC projects in terms of Adherence of quality procedures and maintains Quality Records of various MEP works sites, whilst developing relationships with the client and also developing a professional team to work under limited supervision.

Commissioning Supervisor - HVAC

• Commissioning of HVAC equipment like Screw/reciprocating Air cooled liquid chillers, Cooling towers, AHUs, VAV's, Package/central splits, FCU, chemical dosing pump & Ozone Generators etc.
• Chilled water system commissioning & balancing using flow meter, chilled water piping flushing procedure & chilled water chemical treatment.
• Commissioning of HVAC electrical Control systems. Air distribution systems commissioning & Air balancing using micro manometer & Pitot tube etc.
• Should have knowledge of relevant commissioning codes like BISRIA, CIBSE, NEBB & ASHRAE etc.
• Installation, testing, pre-commissioning , commissioning & operation of large size heating, ventilation & air conditioning systems comprising of chillers, HVAC equipments, cooling towers, piping and building management system, etc.
• Maintain all relevant records pertaining to pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Ensure that the activities are carried out in accordance with relevant industry standards.

Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical with 4- 8 years experience in installation, testing, pre-commissioning , commissioning & operation of large size heating, ventilation & air conditioning systems comprising of chillers, HVAC equipments, cooling towers, piping and building management system, etc. He will also be responsible to maintain all relevant records pertaining to pre-commissioning and commissioning and also ensure that the activities are carried out in accordance with relevant industry standards.

Supervisors - Electrical Retrofitting

• Manage site works on daily basis
• Manage sundry materials procurement for timely completion of works
• Manage subcontractors
• Liaise with client / consultants engineers
• Attend regular progress review meetings

Diploma Engineers with 4-8 experience in supervision of EHV, MV & LV Industrial and utility Electrical installations upto 33kV. Candidate shall have experience on the project involving out door GIS substations, indoor switchgears, control and protection panels, HV & MV power cabling and control cabling, 132kV & 33kv OHL and other associated systems.
