Network Engineer (Ghana)

Experience: 5 to 10 yrs.
Candidate must have in-depth knowledge and Demonstrated Experienced in the planning, designing, installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of:

Minimum four years of Linux or Windows systems administration or hands-on experience is a must.

Proven ability to lead colleagues and cross-functional technical teams.

Superior technical expertise and work ethic.

Superior understanding of Linux-based operating systems and Windows servers.

Advanced understanding of internet networking connectivity technologies including firewalls, tcp, dns, dhcp, ssl, and load balancing.

ability to use backup programs, verify disk integrity, and maintain system files (groups, hosts, aliases).

Perform preventive maintenance on servers.

Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve causes of difficult server performance problems.

Review server error and audit logs and perform system backups/restores.

Gather necessary data for issue replication, problem determination and/or escalation

Install, configure, and support Cisco routers, switches and firewall devices.

IP Telephony, network management systems, and network analysis

Network design on large scale networks

Cisco routers and security devices, VPN configurations, routing, filtering, and firewall security.

VOIP/Asterisk Technologies (Fonality, Trixbox)

Active Directory, DNS, Kerberos, LDAP and Domain group policy.

Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010

VMware vSphere 4.1/5.0

NetAppProvides server backup and recovery support and administration.

Provides server hardware support and administration

 

Candidate should have :

 

- OEM Certifications (in any or all disciplines IBM-AIX, Sun, HP, Dell, EMC)

- Microsoft certification as MCITP (IT Professional) or MCSE (Solutions Expert), MCSM (Solutions Master) is preferred

- Cisco CCNP valid certificate
