Job details:
• To undertake provisioning activities (Create-Update-Delete) for all Infrastructure services including Active Directory – Users, DL’s and Security Groups; Messaging Systems; Shared folders; SharePoint Groups; Blackberry and other mobile devices, Proxy Server, FTP Services, etc. within the defined SLA as per Standard Operating Procedures.
• Resolve Service Request/Incident/Problem tickets with in defined SLA
• Escalate Incident/Problem to L3 support team if not resolved within agreed time line.
• Identify stale user ID/Mailbox, backup the mailbox and remove the ID from AD/Exchange in coordination with HR
• Manage Exchange 2010 Snapshots, clear SNAP Info folder, delete stale snap shots
• Provide First/Second level support to Active Directory, Messaging Infrastructure, Application Servers on Windows 2003/2208 platforms
• Provide support to Internal and External Application Supporters and Peers in Enterprise IT for Servers related issues.
• Apply OS patches on servers in accordance to Patch Management Policy and in agreement with Application owners
• Monitor and conduct proactive & reactive tasks to ensure server health using deployed off the shelf and custom built Systems Management Tools.
• Engage and work with DC Operations team in a timely fashion to ensure continuity of services and successful system backups.
• Liaise with Vendors for Hardware repair / replacement for Hardware failures / faults.
• Manage Symantec End Point Security servers/GUP with up to date definitions.
• Manage Axway Secure FTP, liaise with vendor if escalation is required.
• Manage Citirx XenApp infrastructure, publish new applications, provide application access to users based on the request from business
• Manage & Hyper V infrastructure, provision new servers, ensure backup are successful
• Manage Enterprise Vault Servers, make sure mail archiving is successful based on the policy.
:: About You: ________________________________________
• A degree or diploma in Computer Sciences or a related discipline.
• At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in Server and Storage Support.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server Operating Systems, Exchange, SQL, System Center family Software, System (Server and Storage) Hardware from leading vendors such as HP, IBM, etc.
• Knowledge of Data protection & DR concepts and have worked with at least one of the Enterprise Data Protection solutions from leading vendors such as IBM, HP, Symantec, etc.
• Exposure to UNIX (IBM AIX) System & software; Storage systems from leading vendors such as IBM, HP, NetApps, etc. will be an advantage.
• ITIL V3 Certification.
• Highly Motivated Team player & Process driven.
• Good communication in English & interpersonal skills.
