Job duties:
 
Develops & maintains FE Schedules for projects related to the Plant / Field Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning. These schedules shall be resourced loaded with man-hours and developed in conjunction with the various Engineering Contractors, Materials Department, Construction Contractors as well as other in-house expertise. All schedules are to be baselined in order to monitor them. Standard WBS structure, layouts, activity codes, resources, etc. are to be developed and used in order to obtain conformity and ease of use by various groups supported by FE Planning. This includes:
1.            WBS structure & Activity coding for P6 schedules
2.            Level 2 & 3 schedule templates for FE projects
3.            Resource loading and analysis including individual and stacked histograms
4.            FE Engineering Plan based on P6 Master Plan schedules & input from FE Engineering & FECG
5.            FE Construction Plan based on P6 Master Plan schedules & input from FECG & FE Engineering.
Develops & maintains Project Control tools for tracking and analyzing project progress against agreed baseline schedules. These tools will include standard S-curves, manpower histograms and detailed progress measurement per activity per discipline. Actual data (man-hours, percent complete) is compared to baseline data and analyzed in order to provide guidance to the project team as to how the project is doing from a schedule point of view. A proactive approach is required when seeking solutions to the day to day problems that may occur during the course of the project. This includes:
1.            Project Control System for Engineering Contractor Progress Tracking: Contractor detailed schedules & progress reports
2.            Project Control System for Construction Contractor Progress Tracking: Contractor detailed schedules, Construction Progress Measure and Reporting System.
Develops & maintains FE Master Plan based on FE Budget Line Items which provides all reports as required by the various FE team members, TCO management and Partners. This includes:
1.            Monthly Master Plan & Cost Reports
2.            Monthly FE Engineering Master Plan Report by CPDEP & Project Phases
3.            Monthly FE Construction Master Plan Report by CPDEP & Project Phases
4.            Monthly Construction Resource individual and stacked histograms.
             Actively support and ensure use of safe work processes and procedures.
             Responsibility is limited to smaller conventional projects. All work is reviewed by Lead Planner. Participate in assigned work group meetings and recognize collaboration as an important tool to accomplish work tasks.
             Area of influence is limited to immediate work group.
             Provide support to Cost Analyst in order to give more meaning to Cost Reports.
             Visit sites weekly in order to have a complete, well rounded understanding of each project and keep abreast of the actual progress and difficulties on site.
