Experience: 10 to 20 yrs. 

These senior roles provide a unique opportunity to shape the learning of current and future leaders of the Pacific Region. You will occasionally travel around the Pacific Islands to visit USPs various campuses and have the prospect of acting in an advisory capacity to governments of Pacific countries and the many Non-Governmental Organisations and Projects in the Region.
Responsibilities of your role will include:
Teaching courses across the accounting and finance curriculum
Supervising the program of study of postgraduate students course work and projects
Having a significant role in developing new research projects
Be involved in consultancies

The Person We Seek
To be considered for appointment you must have:
A PhD in the area of expertise
Formal tertiary teaching qualification OR Significant (normally 10 years) tertiary teaching experience
For appointment at the Associate Professor level, you must also show evidence of academic excellence by an outstanding contribution to teaching and/or research and/or scholarship.
For appointment at the Professor level, in addition to the above criteria you must also be recognized as a leading authority in your area of discipline.
The level of appointment will depend on qualifications and experience. Preference will be given to applicants interested in working on collaborative research programs in the field of expertise and to those with distance and flexible education experience.

Remuneration
These positions are available for a term of three years and may be renewed by mutual agreement.
Salary Range: Snr. Lecturer F$81 145 to F$ 93 629 per annum
Assoc. Professor F$99 311 to F$111 726 per annum
Professor F$115 248 to F$124 592 per annum
(Inclusive of 15% Gratuity)
In addition to the above Remuneration, the University contributes 10% of basic salary to an approved superannuation scheme, provides airfare and relocation costs where appropriate.
The University may pay up to 50% inducement allowance to secure the services of an exceptionally well qualified candidate.
