Our client is offering this fantastic opportunity to a Senior Petro physicist with over 8 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry. As well as the chance to work in the amazing city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, our client will give a competitive salary and an excellent expatriate package.
As a Senior Petro physicist in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, you will be responsible for the following:-
Analyzing old and incomplete data to identify behind casing opportunities.
Identify right tool and technique for application in fluid contact determination in commingled-zone production and multi-stack reservoirs.
Identify further opportunities in existing matured reservoirs and marginal fields.
Ensuring effective support to multi-disciplinary team (Reservoir Engineer, Production Technologist, Geophysicist and Geologist) to manage resources and production from fields with ageing facilities, rapid production decline, depleting reservoirs and complex reservoir geology.
Ensuring representative quality data for use in field performance predictions.
Motivating, developing and coaching subordinates to attain high skill levels to meet highly demanding technical and specialized services.
The successful candidate will have:-
A minimum of 8 years of experience
Strong communication/managerial skills
Offshore experience.
