Job Location: Kigali - Rwanda

  

Desired Profile:  Chemistry graduate with minimum 2 years of experience in quality control & assurance of manufacturing unit. 

Preferred Qualification: M.Sc in Chemistry / B.Tech in Metallurgy

Preferred Industry: Non Ferrous / Metal & Steel / Manufacturing 

Core Responsibility:

• Calibration and Maintenance of .XRF Machine.
• Material Sampling from Holding Furnace. 
• Final cutting of Sample & Conduct the porosity test,  
  Generate Lab test report and share the same with production.
• Prepare the Standard Operating Procedures.
• Conduct the trainings on standard Quality management systems.
• Scrutinizing Quality parameters, Optimizing alloying elements consumption,reducing inhouse rejection 
• reducing sample analysis time.
• To represent the plant as MR during the external QMS audits / vendor audits & ensure that internal audits in the plant are conducted at regular intervals for continual improvements.
• Establishing good working relationship with vendors through personal contact by discussing & resolving problems,convincing them. 
• Collecting data on current market conditions, keep close watch on LME & inform vendors on current market Trend
