Experience: 6 to 10 yrs.
Should work closely with Purchase & Project Teams to review all Customer Contracts to highlight commercial implications and co-ordinate with all concerned to ensure compliance of all statutory requirements,
Closely interact with authorities, legal counsels & consultants on all matters including compliance relating to Customs, Central Excise, Service Tax, VAT/Sales Tax, etc.
Play an active role to ensure best commercial terms for the Company in evaluation of Sales as well as Purchase Contracts,
Ensure compliance of Companies internal risk parameters and achievement of business objectives,
Review all Project cost estimates, monitor actual costs and prepare variance analysis on a periodical basis,
Support the Project Teams in negotiations with Customers where necessary and play an active role in managing all commercial matters during the entire contract life cycle by way of monitoring and close-out including payment follow-up from Customers,
Would be required to co-ordinate with Customers / Vendors on all Commercial matters when necessary
Co-ordinate and support the Accounts Team regularly on matters like Project Costing, Cost Centers, Budgetary Control, Inventory, etc. including preparation of MIS Reports
Education: B.Com / M.Com - Commerce, MBA - Finance
Good exposure to Contract terminology, Legal drafting
Knowledge of laws relating to working of contracts,
Excellent analytical skills and capable of making presentations independently,
