Role & Responsibilities
Provide leadership to the Logistics & Tracking Practice across East, Central, West and Southern Africa.
Develop strategy for overall business development of Logistics and Tracking Solution.
Liaise and coordinate with various Country Directors/GMs/Product Managers/Account Managers for promoting Logistics and Tracking Solution in their respective country.
Develop leads, actively target and follow up clients, identify and prioritize profitable business opportunities in liaison and with the support of the headquarter office.
Manage and oversee the Operations of sales, delivery including all support functions.
Deliver overall operational efficiencies by developing relationships with partners and managing all clients.
Achieving targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth.
To build capacity of work force under the Practice in the areas of Business Development, Sales & Marketing, Account Management and Project Management.
Represent company at meetings to promote services.
Experience & Skills
Essential
- Overall 6+ experience in the industry with a minimum 6 years+ of experience in a Managerial/Leadership role.
- Qualification: First Class Graduate from a reputed Institution along with Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Marketing Management (preferable).
- Proven IT Solutions & Services management experience, together with a good record of achieving targets.
- Experience of managing multiple vendors/customers across geographies.
- Good Networking across the Industry.
- Proven people leadership.
- Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written (technical and non- technical).
- Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals in a professional and service-oriented manner.
Preferred
- Domain knowledge holder in Logistics with thorough understanding of Operations, marketing and services required by that Industry.
