- University degree, NEBOSH Certificate or Post Graduate Certificate in HSS or similar.
Technical Member of the institution of Occupational Safety and Health (Tech Sp) or graduate member of IOSH- (GADOSH)
- Member of the institute of fire engineers or equivalent.
Registered Security Practitioner(RSP)
- Excellent in English language.
- At least 40 yrs old.
Has managed security at a senior level within a FMCG environment for a period of 10 years minimum.
Can demonstrate quantifiable improvements in security by influencing board level management.

1- Carry out duties in a safe and competent manner and report immediately any unsafe or defective Co-ordinate Capital Pojects HSS functions to ensure all departments comply with the legal, group and customer requirments and standards.
2- Responsible for the HSS functions within the Capital Projects Division of Almarai.
3- Record, monitor and report Divisional HSS performance through courses and where necessary to assist with their delivery.
4- Advise operation Management of current developments and make specific recomendation for change and improvment.
5- Direct the development and implimentation of the Capital Projects HSS plan including the setting of HSS objectives within the agreed time frame.
6- Resposible for the performance mangment of the Capital Projetcs security functions in line with the business objectives.
7- Implementation, documentation and communicating HSS standards for all activities as required.
8- Revew risk assessments to idemtify opportunities for improvments and assist line managers to develop risk assessment programs within thier departments.
9- Review all accident reports accuracy for acuracy of data in order to assess the adequacy of investigations.
10- Carry out audits- Self And in coordination with the Head of Healt, Safety & Security.
11- Provide coaching and assistance to linemanagers in self-audits.
12- Regularly attend meetings within all areasof the division as and when necessary & paly an integral role within the Capital Projects Executive meetings.
13- Assess HSS trainig needs based on risk assesment & accident preventive actions. Recommend and assit to line managers of traning departmet.
14- Act as a source of HSS expertise, providing assitance as required, helping others to help themselves.
15- Recommend changes to company HHSS policy as and when weakness and opportunities for improvements become apparent.
16- Visiting all divisional areas at least once annually to audit, review and report on HSS standard.
17- As part of routine site visits continually inspect, monitor and report on HSS standard of accommodation with regard to its general suitability, Health of living and recreational facilities, overall maintenance and up keep.
18- Approving relevant Capital Expenditures Request from an HSS point of view.
19- Involved in high level investigation and reporting on accidents when and where necessary.
20- Involved in construction site safety, induction training, inspection etc when necessary.
21- Provide advice on Safety & fire protection for new projects by use of international code and standard.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Implement and maintain Almarai Companys Health, Safety & Security Management Systems, in conjunction with and aligned to Almarai objectives, to support the achievement of the Company HSS policies and business objectives.
2- Facilitate the business rick process within the division to identify and minimize any potentially serious threats to the business.
3- Record, monitor and report Divisional Health, Safety & Security performance through established methods and generating regular reports.
4- Develop and implement a divisional comprehensive audit plan and conduct HSS Audits, reviews and assessments to identify areas of improvements and to assess overall performance and make recommendations for action.
5- Performance management and ensure continuing competency of the Projects.
6- Implement and maintain Capital Projects Division HSS Management systems, to ensure that all Projects employees are able to work in a hazardous and risk free environment.
7- Liaise with the head of HSS to ensure that accurate intelligence briefings for key head office staff are provided.
