Roles & Responsibilities :
  • Representing L&T in official events which are organized by either local institutions, customers government & trade bodies.
  • Provide support and guidance to other L&T ICs where requested for marketing, sourcing, execution and co-ordination.
  • Create and manage Network and relationships with the key Customers, Suppliers, Government & trade bodies. 
  • Develop contacts with key decision makers to manage interactions during pre-bid, contract negotiation, and project execution &post order activities.
  • Support the Marketing Groups of HE SBUs & other L&T ICs with market Intelligence in terms of opportunities, new projects, competitor positioning, customers and key decision makers, bid formation, risk analysis etc. 
  • Submit and follow up bids, participate in and co-ordinate the techno-commercial interactions during the bidding process and help payment collections during the post-order phase.
  • Liaison with agents, procurement agencies and respective business units within L&T.
  • Support to Material Competency Centre in identifying new vendors.
  • Facilitate post order execution. Manage the local legal and taxation issues for the contracts being executed.
  • Coordinate visits of L&T officials and prepare visit reports for Sr. executives
  • Provide regular monthly activity reports to his immediate superior
  • Report major geo-political updates to the people interacting in the region within L&T organisation (SBUs / immediate superior / material procurement team /.
Desired profiles :
  • BE Mechanical with 15-20 years of work experience in business development in reputed company in defence sector.
  • He should be an Indian national with fluency in Russian language.
