Architect / Interior Designer – Doha Metro Red Line
The Jacobs team are responsible for strategy, implementation, administration and validation of design submissions for the Doha Metro Red Line project. We require experienced Architects and Interior Designers who can join the team in Doha and support by collectively leveraging our expertise to provide the following services:
• Undertake Architectural and Front of House Branding Assurance and Validation reviews of design submissions at various stages of development.
• Review coordination of MEP services with Architecture and Civils/Structures.
• Provide specialist advice in the areas of spatial layout, materials selection and line wide consistency.
• Awareness, training and education of staff
• Application development and innovation for automating design processes
Responsibilities associated with this post will include:
• Providing Architectural and Front of House Branding advice to the project team and client.
• Complete Architectural and Front of House Branding Assurance & Validation reviews to programme and as required.
• Review Front of House design submissions for compliance with the client’s branding intent and expected levels of technical excellence on a world class project.
• Availability to travel to Jacobs UK offices and other locations overseas.
Training and Experience:
• Degree qualified.
• Registered as an Architect with the Architects Registration Board
• Minimum of 10 years post RIBA Part 3 qualification.
• Relevant experience to include; Rail (Heavy, Metro/LRT), Airports (Multimodal connectivity), Commercial (Office Buildings, Hotels, Life Science, and Health-Care Facilities)
• Ability to Work Effectively in an Integrated Design Environment
• Ability to propose material cost reduction alternatives
• High end fit out Supply-Chain Knowledge
• AutoCAD Experience (Revit is preferred)
• Strong Computer software skills
