Bank Accounts Administrators
    JOB/ POSITION SUMMARY: 
    Responsible for ensuring the accurate alignment of Firstkuwaiti books to the records of banks for all transactions related to the company. 

    PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS (Specific Accountabilities) 

    -Follow the policies, procedures, guidelines and standards related to the finance and accounting function and comply with the quality standards of the department. 
    -Review bank statements as they come on a monthly basis in order to determine delays in checks and deposits clearing the bank, automatic bank charges and credits that haven't been recorded, and errors that may have been made in the finance and accounting books. 
    -Prepare a list of deposits in transit by comparing the deposits listed on the bank statement with the bank deposits shown in the cash receipts journal. 
    -Review the bank reconciliation prepared in the previous month to determine if all of last month's deposits in transit are cleared on the current month's bank statement, and investigate incidences of delay. 
    -Prepare a list of outstanding checks by marking checks that cleared the bank statement in the current month in the cash disbursements journal, and listing those that did not clear. 
    -Identify checks that were outstanding and still have not cleared the bank, and ensure they are on the current months list of outstanding checks. 
    -Investigate checks that are several months old and still has not cleared the bank. 
    -Record any bank charges made by the bank that have not been recorded in the accounting books. Also, record any credits made to the organizations account by the bank. 
    -Follow up on reconciling items and book the necessary adjustments 
    -Compute book balance per the reconciliation and ensure that the result equals the balance shown in the general ledger. 
    -Obtain the Senior Bank Accounts Administrators approval on the bank reconciliation results. 

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION: 

    Bachelor degree in Business Administration with specialization in Finance/Accounting. 
    Professional qualification, preferably CPA, CFA and/or CMA is a plus 

    RELATED EXPERIENCE: 

    -Minimum 1-3 years of related experience preferably in a similar industry. 
    -Essential hands-on Computer skills. 
    -Proficiency in both English and Arabic, French is a plus.

    Senior Bank Accounts Administrators
        JOB / POSITION SUMMARY: 
        Responsible for monitoring the bank transactions of Firstkuwaiti and overseeing the work of the Bank Accounts Administrator. 

        PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS (Specific Accountabilities) 
        -Follow the policies, procedures, guidelines and standards related to the finance and accounting function and comply with the quality standards of the department. 
        -Follow up on discrepancies and delays in checks and deposits clearing with the banks, identified by the Bank Accounts Administrator 
        -Review the list of outstanding checks prepared by the Bank Accounts Administrator and follow up on them 
        -Gather information from the Bank Accounts Administrator related to checks that has not been cleared by the bank and escalate the issue to the Treasury Section Head 
        -Review and approve the recording of bank charges and other entries prepared by the Bank Accounts Administrator 
        -Review and approve the bank reconciliation prepared by the Bank Accounts Administrator and escalate the issue to the Treasury Section Head in case of Discrepancies 

        QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
