- Job Description:
As an individual technical contributor in the Big Data platform team, you will play a major role in developing Big Data solution and implement various data services based on Hadoop/Map Reduce/Hive and NoSQL Database etc.
Job Responsibilities:
Development of Big Data Solution with Hadoop and related technologies as mentioned below.
Be a key member of the core product development team.
Take ownership of one or more components of the algorithms/solutions module and manage the design and development.
Automate deployment and configuration management using open source frameworks.
Experience:
More than 2+ years of experience in Big Data application development
Strong foundational knowledge and experience with a range of big data components such as HDFS, Map Reduce, Oozie, Pig, Hive, Zookeeper, Sqoop and Flume
Excellent knowledge of NoSQL platforms Cassandra and Neo4j.
Knowledge and application of full text search engine library like Apache Lucene.
Proficiency in Java
Hands-on experience with analytical tools, languages, or libraries (e.g. R, Mahout) is added Advantage
Nice to have experience in JavaScript & Angular JS
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Familiar with Mobile technologies and Big Data Platforms a plus.
Optional but a plus:
Java development certification.
Hadoop Certification.
