The main role of Category Buyer is to deliver agreed Sales and Profit targets for the assigned Categories. 

1.To deliver agreed Sales and Gross Margin 
2.Assortment Planning
3.Introducing New Products
4.Negotiation of better Cost Price
5.To Increase Supplier Investment (like Rebate/Progressive Rebate/Logistic support/Marketing Fund/Listing Fees/Merchandising Funds etc.)
6.Pricing of New and Existing Products
7.Manage Supplier Relations 
8.Follow-up on Delivery from Supplier and from Warehouse to Stores
9.Suggest Products to be included into the Promotional Catalogue


Job Requirements 
1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree, Industrial Engineering or any related course.
2. Have strong negotiation skills
3. 5 years minimum in buying experience.
4. Having experience in different formats and/or sales.
