- The Position
- Our client, a technical market leader in South Africa with 25 years operational experience in the design, manufacturing and installation of aluminium, unitized curtain wall systems is seeking to employ an experienced Unitized Curtain Wall Draftsman.
- Experienced in, with extensive knowledge of, aluminium Unitized Curtain Walling systems
- Competency in aluminium facade drawings
- Specific drafting experience of a minimum of 5 years
- Auto CAD
- Auto CAD 3D will be an advantage
- Ability to draw Unitised Curtain Walling from architects' and engingeers' drawings and details, by referring to elevation, plan, and section drawings
- A stable track record of employment
- Ability to liaise with clients, architects, contractors and facade engineers at a top level
- A proven track record supportive of your abilities as draughtsman is essential
- Candidate must be willing to relocate to Cape Town, South Africa
- Candidate must be willing to undertake a small amount of travel
- Candidate must be fully proficient in written as well as spoken English
