• Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role eg. AR, AP, GL, and co-ordinate with forecasting and budgeting etc.
  • Ensures integrity of all financial information. 
  • Review & authorize payment vouchers & journal entries
  • Manages departments such as accounts payable and accounts receivable, payroll and its allocation
  • Closely maintains and monitors the fixed assets system. 
  • Responsible for day to day accounts and costing operations
  • Responsible for monthly closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts. 
  • Responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS for submission to CFO on dotted deadlines. Complete analysis of financial results; Develop recommendations. Develop and execute analysis of various business initiatives.
  • Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
  • Work closely with the operations and operations teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost tracking and analysis.
  • Support Banking and Treasury in terms of providing information relating to payables/ receivables to facilitate efficient cash budgeting and management. Participate in financing strategies and activities, as well as banking relationships along with CFO
  • Support CFO in ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements 
  • Establish and maintain systems for cost-sensitivity analysis and early-warning of cost-overruns
  • Work consultatively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives
  • Mentor and develop a direct team, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic 
  • Monitors, identifies, and communicates over expenditures to administrative staff. 
  • Analyzes branches, show rooms and head office expenditures. 
  • Adheres to internal and external deadlines. 
  • Works with both internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits 
  • Participate in meetings with lenders and investors along with CFO
  • Responsible for all tax obligations. 
  • Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up. 
  • Participate in corporate policy development as a member of the senior management team. 
  • Other special projects relating to other companies under the Group
    SKILLS
    • Must be able to effectively disseminate important financial information to supervisors or clients. 
    • Good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
    • Possess strong leadership skills to manage the various accounting processes. 
    • He should be organized, multitasked, motivated, professional and highly analytical. 
    • Should also be able to work well independently, with minimal interaction. 

    BACKGROUND

    • Must possess a bachelor's degree in accounting and ACCA or CA
    • Must have extensive experience in financial reporting and accounting 
    • Must of a good exposure to IFRS and in particular leasing/ HP transactions
    • Must have over 6-8 years post qualification experience in supervisory capacity within the finance function.
    • Consolidation experience is a MUST
    • ERP experience would be a plus 
    • High growth company experience 
    • Working experience in an automobile distribution company of at least 3 years preferred
    • Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels.
    • Must be a team player 
    • Willing and able to work with minimum supervision 
    • High level of English is required. 
    • Knowledge of Burmese preferred
