Our client one of the leading Groups which is into construction and trading requires a Finance Manager for their operations in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will be a male, Indian, a qualified or semi qualified CA/ CMA/ CPA / ICWAI or M.Com with at least 4 - 5 years of experience. He should have experience working with big groups and should have managed two or more entities. The candidate should lead the company's financial accounting, reporting and control activities across the group of companies and to ensure they are carried out efficiently, effectively and in line with best practice. Experience working in construction or trading companies would be an added advantage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Implementing and ensuring compliance with the company's financial and accounting policies and procedures.
Assisting in preparing budgets.
Preparing monthly accounts, management reports, comparison with budget and commentary on the performance.
Preparing annual consolidated financial statements.
Working capital management and preparation of monthly and annual cash flows.
Producing accurate and timely financial information as required by management.
Ensure compliance and the application of internal controls procedures.
Liaising with the IT function for computerization needs and improvements
Providing effective input to the Director in the financial analysis of all major investments decisions.
Reviewing contracts and agreements to fully understand the financial implications to the BU.
Coordinating with the related parties to ensure information flow is timely and accurate.
Actively participating in the annual audit process to ensure quality information is provided in a timely manner and the audit is finalized effectively and efficiently.
Responsible for directing, administering and coordinating financial aspects of business operations.
Manage and supervise all financial accounting, controlling and reporting activities.
Manage all financial and administrative processes in accordance with company guidelines and local regulations.
Support the management team in the achievement of the profitability target.
Analyze financial results and provide the management team with a clear understanding of the financial performance and effects/implications of business plans and strategies.
Proactively identify deviations and establish action plans to take corrective measures when required.
Provide economic analysis on all matters of potential financial impact for the business, particularly in costing, customer, product line evaluation and capital addition.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB
