Produce detailed financial models and investment write-ups, conduct necessary industry and business research analysis complying with the company’s strategy and objectives.

ASSET MANAGEMENT 
1. Evaluate investment opportunities proposed either internally or externally
a. Gather information and data from different public and private sources, by conducting relevant market surveys or third party sources.
b. Analyze and evaluate gathered information
c. Prepare report on market research findings and analysis
d. Prepare full due diligence covering at macro, micro and operational levels for proposed investment opportunity prepare final recommendation. for presentation to Investment Committee
2. Portfolio Management 
• Gather information and data from different sources on the company owned securities
• Calculate actual and expected returns, overall portfolio returns and risks supported by variance analysis on the company’s portfolio. Prepare report on findings and analysis for Board review
• Analyze feedback of the Board on the strategic direction of the Company.
• Prepare list of requisites for clarification on performance concerns for discussion with board representatives prior to and after board meetings.
• Gather information on overvalued or underperforming investments not befitting the company’s long term strategy
• Analyze and evaluate exit strategies suggested by management
• Follow up and update comprehensive report on regular bass

Performance Indicators
• Thoroughness and accuracy of research
• Consistency of reports with agreed investment frameworks and templates
• Accuracy in financial models and valuation methods.
• Use of financial /accounting practices
• Application of finance and valuation methodologies.
• Analysis of financial statements and reports produced


• Masters of Finance or Bachelors Degree in Accounting /Finance / Economics. CFA Level 1 desirable.
• 2 to 4 years experience, preferably in a similar role within an investment company or financial institution
• High analytical skills, report writing skills
• Knowledge of modern portfolio theory
• Knowledge of financial modeling and accounting practices
• Excellent English- written and spoken communication skills
• Solid computer skills
