Job Opening : Marine HSE Team Leader

Location : Oman

Qualifications :  Degree or Diploma In Engineering. 
                             NEBOSH Qualified
                             Relevant HSEQ Leadership experience.
                             Preferably Oil and Gas experience

Responsible for: (The major job activities) 

Required Skill Set 
(In case of IT requirements) Min 1 year Diploma in Computer application
Relevant Industry Civil Construction, Oil and Gas

Job Description / Responsibilities 


• Develop and Implement HSE Plan
• Ensure management system has relevant provisions to comply with all applicable regulations, codes of practice and industry standard.
• Identification of trends regarding the recurrence of accidents providing feedback and recommendations to the Group HSEQ Manager and senior management team. Oversee the investigation of accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformances and the identification of corrective actions
• Participation in the development and implementation of HSEQ management system policies and procedures Encourage and promote HSEQ awareness in all operational activities and worksites
• Development and delivery of HSE training courses to both onshore and offshore personnel as required
• Promoting the effective use of existing HSE management tools and techniques on each worksite
• Liaise with relevant regional industry regulators.
• Liaise with clients during performance review meetings and audits
• Ensure on going certification of management system and participate in third party audits.

Desired profile of the candidate 


• Manage Personnel:
• Develop a highly skilled and effective regional Marine HSEQ team.
• Provide support and regularly communicate with subordinate staff both formally and informally as required to ensure the highest level of operations are achieved and expectations are understood.
• Set HSEQ performance targets for all processes and personnel for which you are responsible in conjunction with the Group HSEQ Manager.
• Relevant HSE experience to Marine Pipeline construction, Installation and Commissioning.
• Ability in the development & implementation of HSE Plan.
• Aware of Marine Construction hazards / aspects their risk and control measures.
