• Overseeing the inventory management process, defining departmental strategies for appropriate inventory levels and keeping track of supply and demand.
• Monitoring the warehouses at the Site, ensuring stock control, booking of deliveries and site delivery.
• Responsible to gain a complete understanding of the whole supply chain for coordinating effectively and to liaise with suppliers of raw materials, manufacturers, and site management.
• Developing and maintaining transportation strategies to ensure timely delivery to sites.
• Implementing system related procedures for warehousing, stock control, site deliveries and booking of deliveries.
• Allocating and managing staff resources in accordance with the requirement schedule of production and site installation.
• Creating, managing and achieving the overall logistics department budgets.
• Safeguarding warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Responsible for custom clearance, import duties, local transportation.
Is responsible for directing, managing and coordinating logistics, warehouse, transportation and supplier activities. The role involves leading, directing and strategic planning for logistics department.
• Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics Management
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in logistics environment.
