Hires, manages, and leads technical team members in the physical implementation area towards the successful engagements, and build career paths for the team members. Creates and executes engagement plans across multiple projects and revises as appropriate to  meet changing needs and requirements.
Uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to customers through product demonstrations, state of the art feature realizations, and tape-out engagements below 20/14nm technologies.  Closely work with the corporate and other regional teams to deliver new technologies to customers.
Work closely with the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions.  May create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/systems. May provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.  May also provide post-sales technical support through the team effort for implementation, training, and maintenance of company products/applications/solutions.  Has effective communication and presentation skills both in Korean and English.  Excellent customer interface, negotiation communication, and planning skills are required. Leads and manages complex engagements in parallel to achieve timely completion consistent with program schedule and cost constraints. 
Need a strong understanding of ASIC design flow, especially in the area of 20/14nm routing and related topics. Knowledge of competitive EDA tool products and product knowledge in any of the areas of Synthesis, Simulation, Verification, Place and Route, Design Reuse and/or Physical Design is required. Knowledge of the front-end design process or experience with timing signoff, extraction, and  LVS/DRC are a plus. Synopsys tool experience is desired, but not required. 
Typically requires a minimum of 10~15+ years of related experience. At this level, post-graduate coursework or knowledge base equivalent may be expected. Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in innovative and effective ways. Exercises judgment and interpretation in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results.
Drives projects, programs, and business initiatives. Initiates new cross-organizational projects. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments and projects. Advises senior management on specialized technical or business issues. Serves as organization spokesperson on specialized projects or programs. Acts as prime consultant on significant projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives.
