MAIN PURPOSE:
Liferay Portal Administrator will be part of a large team who will be administrating the liferay portal he or she will work with experienced team of Liferay Developers, Build and release team, Database Team, Java Service Team. Managing the liferay features like Site management, Web Content Management, Document Management, User Management will be the sole responsibility of this individual.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Administration of Site management, Web Content Management, Document Management, User Management
Liferay Audit trails analysis
Worked on Liferay Jboss Server Bundle 6.2 is a must
Design and code the integration of the application business layer with the external application components
Develop framework components, and expose back-end web-services via portlet API
Customize Liferay to meet business requirements
INTERNAL CROSS WORKING RELATIONS :
Different domain teams like functional, technical etc.
EXTERNAL WORKING RELATIONS:
Customer.
Third parties (Vendors / implementation Partners)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems of equivalent from a reputed national / foreign educational institution.
Communication capabilities in English.
- RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
Liferay development skills with JBOSS and TOMCAT, Liferay Themes ,layouts and Alloy UI, Java/J2EE Java web application development
Must have Minimum 4 years of Strong Liferay development skills with JBOSS/TOMCAT.
Must have relevant experience on Liferay hook and ext.
Must have Portal/portlet development experience - using Liferay plugin and Liferay SDK
Relevant experience on Liferay Themes ,layouts and Alloy UI.
Must be fluent in Java/J2EE Java web application development
Must have experience in Spring, Hibernate and Web services.
Must have experienced in Jenkins, Sonar, Build Management(Ant/Maven) and Junit
Must have relevant experience with JavaScript, JSP, AJAX, jQuery, CSS, & XHTML
Relevant experience in database(preferably Oracle)
Development/architecture experience with web infrastructure
Should be able to estimate the duration of design & development tasks on an on-going basis
Must have 3-5 years of significant IT experience in Java/JEE technologies along with strong hands-on experience in various frameworks such as Struts, Spring and Hibernate.
Must have atleast implement 2 projects using Liferay 6.X
Must have understanding of web portal technology and able to support clients in the design and implementation of their business requirements.
Good knowledge of Liferay extension environment and how to develop various kinds of Liferay plugins are a must
Must have a total IT development experience of 8+ years.
