-Capable to study Drawings / Fabrication Process / Electro Mechanical Projects.
-Possessing reasonable knowledge of Project Management, Planning & Scheduling techniques.
-Familiarity with Material of different grades of Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel & Alloy Steel.
-Fully conversant with Costing of material.
Job responsibilities:
-Review the Inquiry in details. If he finds the inquiry not suitable for any reason to quote or out of scope, he may recommend to decline the inquiry.
-For inquiries which are found to be suitable to quote, identify the need of feedback from other departments like Manufacturing, Design and QA/QC department, rates of materials & services from Procurement, current man-hour rates from Finance etc.
-Assigning of the suitable inquiries to the concerned estimation engineer for preparation of necessary estimates based on the scope of work provided by the client in the inquiry documents.
-Review checking of the estimates prepared by the proposal engineer before submission to the Manager.
-Provide necessary guide lines to the proposal engineers for making competitive and winning bids based on the nature of the job.
-Discuss with the Manager, the cost estimates prepared by the concerned proposal engineer to finalize the prices and the margins etc.
-Preparation of the formal quotation for submission to the client after approval from Manager / General Manager .
-Coordination with Marketing Engineer for any clarifications or inputs from client.
Prepare comprehensive replies to the queries and clarifications received from the client against our submitted bids.
-Upon award of the job, review the contract documents in consultation with the Manager.
-Prepare the work order.
-Obtain final approval from the Manager / GM.
-Coordinate for the issue the Work Order.
- B.E Mechanical Engineering
Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Experience Required:8 yrs
