Quantity Surveyor for Qatar

Our prestigious client, the largest Construction Company in Qatar, is looking to hire qualified and experienced QUANTITY SURVEYOR urgently:-

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Implementing cost controls and financial control procedures outlined in the construction contract

· 5 years’ experience of post-contract Quantity Surveying on major building projects (High-rise Towers, Shopping Malls, Hospitals, etc.).

· Commercially astute, numerate, risk averse & able to accurately forecast cost & sales

· Manage and produce accurate formal reports in accordance with business timetable

· Provide strategic and operational commercial advice.

· Proactively manage the team ensuring deadlines are achieved and accurate financial reports are produced.

· Overseeing measurement of site works from drawings and evaluating the contractor’s monthly interim payments.

· Extensive experience of Claims Management; Evaluating and reporting valid claims, Negotiating and settling claims with contractor, Assessing liabilities for delays with planners, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Successful applicants must possess a University Degree in Quantity Surveying and be chartered

· Estimation, CAD drawing, knowledge in MS office

· Aconex

· ERP knowledge is an advantage

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

· Good command of written and spoken English.

· Customer focused.

· Results-driven attitude

· Middle East experience Preferred.

SALARY:

· Negotiable depending on your relevant experience
