PROFILE – Sales & Marketing Head Angola.

General Summary: Manages Sales of the company brands within a defined geographic area. Ensures consistent profitable growth in sales revenues and volume through positive planning, development and management of sales personnel. 


Core Functions:
• Establish and recommends the most realistic sales goals after analysis of past history & market potential for the territory.
• Budget planning for the assigned market.
• Manage as assigned geographic sales area of product line to maximize sales volume / revenues and meet company objectives.
• Manage effective programs to train & appraise sales staff.

Details of Functions: 
• Manages personnel and develops sales and sales support staff.
• Reviews progress of sales roles throughout the territory.
• Holds regular meeting / training with sales staff.
• Formulates sales policies, practices and procedures.
• Develop specific plans to ensure volume growth in brand mix.
• Develop sales strategies to improve market share in all brands.
• Plan, train and perform sales activities as per the need of the market in consultation with regional / area manager.
• Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
• Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting accurately volume and budget for a semester (6 months).
• Scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
• Demonstrates proper use of sales support & management of expenses as each level.
• Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential.

Reporting:
• Reports to General Manager / Head Office.
Qualification:
• Degree / MBA with 15 to 18 years experience preferred in tobacco industry, OR FMCG.
