Level III certification in PT, MT, UT & RT in accordance with ASNT. Accomplished specialized NDT training covering the above fields.
Experience : Should have 12 years with minimum of 6 years in ship repair field.

Radiographic Testing — X & Gamma (RT).
Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
Magnetic Particle Testing (MT).
Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)
Visual Testing (VT) {Preferred / Optional }

Prepares, Reviews and approves NDT procedures and NDT personnel qualifications.
Interprets the results of NDTs as per applicable standard, code or criteria.
Identify the latest improvements in equipment technology.

Identify equipment and consumables vendors and place requisition for purchase of equipment, consumables and accessories.
Conduct On-the job training of all technicians engaged in UT gauging and maintain records for the same as per IACS requirement.
Directs, guides and advises supervisors of related trades to the proper working procedures.
Assesses in conjunction with classification society surveyors the soundness of the tested work.
Prepares the relevant test reports.
Assists Technical Department Head in the acquisition or the development of new equipment to upgrade the company NDT work..
