Job Description:
Plans Coordinates, manages and ensures implementation of all HSE aspects with the OAG Project Management Team and EPC Contractors to achieve Project HSE Goals and Objectives in accordance with contractual HSE requirements. This includes ensuring that Engineering designs, drawings and project deliverables comply with COMPANY'S HSE rules / procedures, local and international standards and codes of practices.
Closely monitors the implementation of the HSE Plan for OAG Project. Responsible for revision and approval of Health, Safety and Environment related project technical deliverables, and for monitoring the implementation of the OAG Project Health, Safety and Environment Action Tracking Registers.
Organizes and leads Project Health, Safety and Environment Reviews. Prepares (PHSER) Reports and monitors the implementation and follow up of recommendations.
Periodically audits OAG projects HSE performance to ensure compliance with the Health, Safety and Environment Plans and milestones.
Organizes periodical meetings with OAG Project Management Team to provide input on Project’s Health, Safety and Environment performance and compliance.
Ensures that both Internal and External Project related Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSEMS) Audits are conducted and that actions and recommendations are properly and effectively monitored.
Participates in pre-commissioning/ commissioning activities and in planning and conducting Emergency and Crisis Management Exercises.
Liaise closely with OAG PMC and Project EPC Contractor for all Related HSE matters and participates in major Accidents/Incidents Investigations.
Job Requirements:
B.Sc. in Science/Engineering or equivalent.
10 years experience in safety and occupational health in a hydrocarbons processing installation.
UAE driving licence.
Good spoken and written English.
Age: Max. 50
