PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Preferred candidate has 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelors degree , Computer engineering or Computer Science, Mathematics or 3+ years of experience with a MS and or PhD with related course work or research
- Experience of kernel mode programming under Windows 7 or later
- Experience of device driver programming under Windows (WDF or KMDF)
- Deep knowledge of X86 Computer architecture
- Deep understanding of hardware (graphics adapter or other PCI device) and hardware resources (memory, IO, interrupt, etc)
- Knowledge of kernel mode graphics driver architecture (WDDM)
- Strong analysis and debugging skill in Windows kernel mode (windbg, memory dump analysis, dissemble, etc)
- C/C++, OO, 64 bit programming
- Deep understand of display knowledge, interface, stands and protocols (HDMI, DP, etc) is a plus
- Knowledge of HDCP is a plus
- Knowledge of Power Management is a plus
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop and debug kernel mode graphics driver on Windows and other platform
- Based HW programming guide, come up with software driver solution for certain graphics devices or HW blocks.
- Low level programming of hardware devices (initialize hardware, allocate hardware resource, handle interrupt, read/write memory/register, etc)
