Position - Senior Maintenance Operations Engineer (Technical)

Job Description:
Primary Purpose of the Job:
• Co-ordinates, assists and supports all scheduled and unscheduled multi-discipline maintenance activities for production station PS-3, including civil maintenance, to meet production targets and completely fulfill the objectives of the approved annual budget.
• Ensures availability of all plans, manpower and parts for the above maintenance activities that are to be undertaken offshore and or in Contractor workshops.
• Directs and monitor the effective maintenance carried out by all trades and ensure that all are in line with the computerized maintenance Management and Information Systems.
• Provides overall technical and administrative support for the extension of work and inspection programs covering all maintenance activities.
Ensures that Offshore Engineers, schedule work so that outages are kept to minimum acceptable levels and that the Corporation’s available manpower resources are utilized efficiently
Education:
• B. Sc or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline with an aptitude for understanding cause and effects of complex instrumentation/electrical control systems.
• This shall include but not limited to PLC based control DCS, ESD and Fire & Gas system.
• Manage a diverse and Multi-disciplinary staff (direct hire and contractor) at various levels and of different cultures and backgrounds that are engaged to maintain Production Station that require special technical, operational, safety, contracts negotiation, financial and managerial skill to meet business objectives.
Experience & Skills:
• A minimum of twelve years’ experience of which at least seven years experience in a trade supervisory position flowed by further five (5) years in a multi-discipline position (Senior Maintenance Supervisor type position) with varied maintenance operations experience within a similar Offshore Gas or Oil environment. Familiar with maintenance work control contracting, budgetary and cost control procedures.
Experience in the use of computerized preventive maintenance programmes and very good knowledge of English language are essential
