- To provide technical design and thought leadership for development of high performance software in the area of Security Analytics.
Create architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with systems/platforms based on functional requirements
Recommend changes on project design concepts to improve efficiency, performance and scalability
Verify stability, interoperability, security and scalability of Java system architecture
Select apt design solutions and ensure compatibility of system components
Evaluate impact of current or emerging technologies on the Java program
Communicate and coach finalized architecture design to all levels of professionals and leaders in the team
Develop sample or illustrative code for key components in the architecture to assist development team
Ensure compliance with established architecture, design patterns, policies, standards and best practices
Will be required to work closely with teams based out of India
- Proven track record of providing thought leadership in the area of scalable enterprise class product design and development
Proven track record of architecting software products based on enterprise Java development platforms
Knowledge of designing real time applications / products for high performance and throughput measured in events per second/transactions per second
Should have in depth knowledge of multi process / multi-threading architecture, Complex Event Processing using tools such as Drools Fusion, and Business Rules Management systems such as Drools Rules or equivalent
Good experience in design of high scale distributed computing architecture
Ability to propose solutions using latest tools on the Java platform for achieving high scalability, performance, reliability and load balancing
Must have worked in the area of big data using various big data technologies and have experience with Hadoop based systems
Good knowledge of columnar and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra
Good product development knowledge in the Linux platform with specific focus on Redhat Linux
Exposure to the area of machine learning is an added advantage
Good communications skills and a team player
Must be a GC holder or US citizen
