- Responsibilities
To control the movement of material in warehouse, lay-down areas and other storage areas at Central store facilities.
Supervise material receipt from either vendors or customers, ensuring safe unloading and placement in assigned storage locations.
Handle incoming shipments by liaising with supplier on shipping documents, custom clearance, forwarding and delivery, unloading, inspection and storage
Proper inventory control with recording of all store inventories and storage location for easy traceability and retriever.
Provide proper storage of all incoming goods to prevent any damage and proper housekeeping of warehouse to ensure a tidy and safe workplace
Prepare and review Inventory Control Procedure and ensure compliance to the procedure
Update and maintain Material Management System (MMS) to monitor re-order quantity and stock level control
Prepare monthly inventory report and perform yearly physical inventory audit
Initiate actions to identify and dispose of all scrap materials.
Provide training to logistic assistance
Educational Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes
Diploma in logistic management or equivalent.(not necessary if have adequate experience)
At least 3 - 4 years of logistics experience in plant operation preferred.
Strong supervisory qualities and a good team player
Detail oriented and able to work with minimum supervision
Able to cope well under pressure and multi-task
Fluent in English
Computer literate.
