The AXIOM Technical specialist acts as an AXIOM expert regarding activities to drive efforts in the definition and specification of technical solutions for AXIOM Regulatory Reporting implementation. Responsible for day-to-day leadership of team work efforts reg reporting area and/or serves as a subject matter expert providing support as needed in the transference of business requirements and functional specifications into technical specification. Provides support as needed to development-related work efforts & projects, Level 3 support team and with problem/root-cause analysis.

    • Ensure AXIOM technical requirements support the business requirements provided by Business Analysts. 
    • Interface with internal/external providers to ensure successful development, testing and implementation of change in AXIOM
    • Communicate the AXIOM technology in common nomenclature for technical & non-technical audiences
    • Assess and identify mitigation for risks including those related to high level design, integration, quality of data within a AXIOM regulatory reporting framework
    • Determine the impact on test or production environment across two or more AXIOM instances
    • Evaluation of new products incl. prototyping (potentially on behalf of architects) recommendation of new reports implementation within AXIOM
    • Level 3 support for technical infrastructure components (e.g. databases, middleware, user interface)
    • Contribute to problem and root cause analysis Provides functional competence towards software effort estimation needs, whenever required (in collaboration with Solution Architect, Development Managers)
    • Support testing on behalf of users, operations, and testing teams potentially including test plans, test cases, test-data and review of interface testing, between different applications, when required. 

    Please note that candidates with strong business objects experience and regulatory experience are highly desirable.
