Minimum 5 years or above to operate below mentioned Tugs for Harbor Operations:

    ASD (Azimuth Stern Drive) Tugs, Schottel ASD Tugs,

    Nigata - The thrusters are old NIIGATA Azimuth fixed pitch single joystick system and I prefer to have a master with previous experience. 

    Harbour Tugs (ASD) 70 /60 /50 Tonnes Bollard Tug to berth and sail large container vessels (LOA 300 METRES PLUS) Dead Weight (DWT more than 100,000 MT) or tankers, bulk carriers of DWT more than 100,000 DWT. 

    This should include experience of Handling Large containers vessels up to LOA 350 to 399 m (or nearest to this range)

    Valid Tug Masters Certificates (COC valid up to Dec. 2014) including all STCW Course with GMDSS. Satisfactory service records.

    Candidate must provide a summary of his work experience in sheet.

    STCW Courses

    1) Medical First Aid ( should expire after 5 years)

    2) Advanced Fire fighting Course. (STCW 95)

    3) Personal Survival Techniques (PST) or Survival at Sea (one time only)

    4) PSSR (Personal Safety & Social Responsibility)

    5) Radar Observer Certificate ( Competency certificate to operate tugs Radar)

    6) GMDSS Certificate GOC- (5 Years Validity)

    7) CPSC Certificate of Proficiency for Survival Craft. (He must know how to operate life rafts in case of emergency)

    8) Valid Medical Certificate

    9) Valid CDC

    10) Valid passport which should have at least 2 years expiry date.
