IT Helpdesk Engineer (UAE)

Job Description
The IT Helpdesk Engineer will be primarily responsible to provide level one IT support for company internal users.
Responsibilities
Ø  Receive and record technical and/or application support calls from end users on helpdesk tool.
Ø  Provide first level investigation, diagnosis, resolution and recovery for hardware/software problems. 
Ø  Will communicated   with internal and external contacts to resolve the incidence.
Ø  Maintain overall ownership of user’s issue & service ensuring that they receive resolution within a reasonable timeframe.
Ø  Provide initial assessment of urgency and business impact on all support calls.
Ø  Support the following technologies: Microsoft Office2010/13 products, Internet Explorer, Windows7/8, desktops, laptops, printers, networked copiers, NIC’s, basic LAN/WAN connectivity and others as assigned.
Ø  Manage service requests, software installations, new computer setups, upgrades, etc.
Ø  Ability to work in a team environment
Skillset & Experience
Required
Ø  2-3 years directly related work experience in a technical help desk position supporting Windows 7/8, Microsoft Office 2010/13, Internet Explorer and business applications in a business environment.
Ø  Knowledge of multiple desktop programs, configuration and debugging techniques
Ø  Troubleshooting POS and Printer issues.
Ø  Experience with TCP/IP and general networking issues.
Ø  Knowledge in desktop Antivirus and backup  
Ø  Should have UAE Driving License

Ø  Ability to co-ordinate with the Vendors for the service delivery
Ø  Strong work ethic, detail oriented as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ø  Ability to communicate well with internal and external contacts.
Ø  Ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
Ø  Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Ø  Motivated and competent to contribute time and effort to work assigned. 
Ø  Ability to organize, prioritize and execute tasks 
 
Education Ø  3year Dip Engineer or Graduate Engineer 
Ø  MCITP & CCNA certification preferred
