Procurement & Materials Management Advisor for Kuwait

Position: - PPS Advisor/Procurement and Material Management Advisor
Experience: - Eight (8) years experience in Major Capital Project procurement and materials management, including two (2) years in a similar position
Qualification: - Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or business related field

Rotational shifts: - Family status- 5/2 (5 days working 2 days off)
Salary:- Will be conveyed on phone

PURPOSE & SCOPE
Coordinates project procurement and materials management activities ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures. Assists with the development of procurement and materials management strategies and plans, undertakes market analysis and assists in the bid document preparation by drafting the procurement and materials management portion of the MCP tenders, assists in addressing bidder clarifications on project procurement and material handling issues. Provides assistance and advises the project team on a range of project contracts to ensure timely delivery of long lead equipment items and proper material handling is implemented. Establishes and maintains interfaces with key stakeholders of the project.

FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in the establishment, development and implementation of the project procurement and materials management strategies and project procurement plans are aligned with processes, policies, procedures, guidelines, and satisfying government requirements.
Supports Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and EPC/EPCI/EPCM bid document preparations by developing the necessary procurement and materials management exhibits.
Assists other project functional groups in the development of Class II and Class III estimates
Ensures all corporate compliance needs of contracts are satisfied with regards to procurement and materials handling and transportation, ensures compliance with Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, etc.
Acts as a point person for contract audits on procurement related activities. 
Participates in Companys Procurement and Materials Management network for lessons learned, best practices, and for peer communication.
Cooperates and coordinate with various Company Legal and Contracting groups for procurement related activities.
Carries out other similar or related duties including, but not limited to, coordinating and attending Project meetings and with other concerned Divisions; adhering to all environment, health & safety policies, rules and regulations and reporting potential hazards to appropriate parties, etc.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education & Training: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or business related field
Experience (General & Specialized): Eight (8) years experience in Major Capital Project procurement and materials management, including two (2) years in a similar position 
Language: Very good written and spoken English skills
