Operations Head for Food Service Company in Sri Lanka

The purpose of this role is to lead the company's operations in Sri Lanka. The position will head the operational excellence, customer service and manage people in the operations department. All departments like training, guest services and operations support will report into the position. 

The position is primarily responsible to operate the restaurants to its prime, providing world class customer services, serving the best products and ensuring our people are motivated, trained and customer focused. The position also drives sales and profitability of the business the help the company achieve the projected business plan. The position should be in sync at all times with all legal & environmental changes in his territory of work.

1. Ownership of the Sales and Profitability of the Business in the country
2. New store opening Open new stores as per the laid out business plans 
3. Drive the top-line sales of the business as per the business plan
4. Achieve the desired profitability of business in different stages of the business. 
5. Motivate the team to perform at its best and always be customer centric.
6. Ensure that all the business matrix involving the costs of the restaurants and the related costs are under control and within the budgeted values.
7. Lead the team with a lot of energy, self-drive and passion. To set the tone as a leader for the team to follow
8. Co-ordinate with the India team (Parent Company), HODs, Functional heads for process improvements and higher efficiency
9. Work with the Marketing team to come up with promotions and programs to improve sales and profitability
10. Define & adhere to Standard Operating Procedure for all the operational aspects of business.
11. Provide all required data and MIS to management on a regular basis
The Candidate must be Hotel Management Graduate, MBA with relevant experience of between 9-14 years
with the following skills - 

1. Excellent leadership skills to lead a young team
2. Number orientation and analytical skills
3. Excellent communication & analytical skills.
4. Comfortable with frequent travel.
5. Swift decision making ability whilst adhering to Organization policies
