We are Looking Bilingual (Japanese + English) Networks & Unified Communications Specialist for one of our client in Singapore.

    Experience: 5 years and above.
    Location :- Singapore

    Must Have: Language requirement: Read/Write/Speak Japanese + English

    The Network Specialist is required to support the operation, planning and execution of projects in line with IT strategies related to Network. Services supported include but not limited to LAN, WAN, Wireless, Firewall, Load Balancer, VPN, Network Optimization, DNS. It also requires a strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders across Managed partners, IT functional groups and Business. We are looking for someone who is capable of supporting MSD Japan market while working in a dynamic global environment operating in a 24/7 follow the sun model, with a broad understanding of Data Network technologies as well as wide exposure to complex global network infrastructure setup. The individual will need to demonstrate sound technical knowledge, good communication and good operational mindset.

    Primary activities/responsibilities

    Support the overall quality of the managed services and ensure adherence to service levels.
    Act as technical escalation expert in one or many of the Data Network technology areas. 
    Troubleshoot complex network issues or major incidents globally.
    Escalate issues that require executive attention.
    Will be directly responsible for the implementation of network projects and also oversee projects being implemented by the Managed Services provider.
    Work with technical teams and business teams when developing standardized network solution and communication plans to provide an optimal end user experience.
    Adhere to project management and ITIL best practices and methodologies across projects and service delivery while meeting time-lines, budgets and business deliverables. 
    Ensure services or products are onboarded into operation following standard processes
    Involve in other related global & regional initiatives and duties as directed by the management 

    Technical Skills / Experience

    Minimum 5 years in providing technical operation support and service delivery in Data Network and Unified Communication areas
    Good knowledge with Cisco, F5 and Pulse Secure
    Familiar with ITIL processes or similar best practices (Eg; Change, Incident, Problem management)
    Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and repairing complex data network problems.
    Strong working knowledge in WAN Routing, LAN Switching, WAN Acceleration, Wireless LAN, Load Balancing, VPN and DNS is a must
    Experience with Data Center technologies (OTV, Fabric Path, VDC, VPC, ACI), Perimeter Security (Cisco ASA, Sourcefire, Palo Alto, Pulse Secure) and Cloud networks (AWS & Azure) will be an advantage
    Experience with Global IT operations following the sun support
    Ability to deliver projects effectively
    Industry recognized certifications such as CISSP, CCNA/CCNP/CCIE is an added advantage
    Excellent communication and negotiation skills within a matrix organization
    Responsible and able to work under pressure with limited supervision
    Ability to create positive relationships at all levels across different groups & teams.
    Able to manage changing priorities and working on tight deadlines
    Experience with working across technical teams and business teams to achieve common objectives and good customer experience.
