Sr. Engineer / Technical Lead for Switzerland

• Extensive design experience in at-least two of the following subjects: Bogie design, Coach structure design, Seating system, Coach under carriage, door systems, air conditioning systems, Railway Interiors
• Strong mechanical engineering basics. Should have worked on New Product development, Product Enhancement, concept development , Detailed design, DFMA, Release and validation activities
• Apply exposure to manufacturing process to create and validate manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable standards.
• Good Knowledge on strength of materials, Hand calculation & FEA basics is added advantage.
• Ability to define Functional Dimensioning requirements (operation, aesthetics, assembly, disassembly).
• Exposure to various manufacturing processes.
• Able to perform basic calculation on all type of mechanical assemblies & analyze results.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing non conformity and to validate a back-up solution.

• Have understanding for product costs on a technical solution
• Hands-on experience on Catia (Mandiatory) CAD tools (optional Creo, Catia, Solidworks) and PDM/PLM platform to create and validate 3D and 2D
• Good knowledge on Rail standards (EN and US )
• Good knowledge on Welding in European and American standards
• Good Knowledge on different types of materials used in Railway industry
• Application of GD&T to create better design/products
• Exposure to design of non-metallic parts like plastic, FRP and GRP parts is an added advantage
• Engineer should have German/EU passport or Swiss citizenship
• Good in German speaking (min level B1).
