Position -
1. Mechanical Technician
(Min. 5 Years Exp.):
Minimum 5 years in maintenance environment preferable in Aluminum smelter.
* Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on rotating equipment, hydraulic systems and pneumatic system.
* Diagnosis and rectification of faults.
* Attend all breakdown jobs and completing with Safety and minimum delay.
* Liaise with parts Warehouse to obtain parts.
* Ensuring Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to.
* Ensuring appropriate Shift Report is made, all job Work Order Closed, defect forms and service sheets are completed in a timely manner.
* Be part of Day/Shift, a call out Rota and ability to work under pressure.
* Must be Proactive - contribute to continual improvement.
* Manage Work Orders in Oracle system according to Maaden defined work processes.
* Ensure excellent housekeeping standards are met in the department.
* Actively participate in Maaden continual improvement process (Suggestions, DI etc.).
* Ensure LTV and PTW systems are compiled to in the department.
* Write and review equipment SWI's.
* Mentor technicians AND new recruits.
* Perform Shift or weekend cover duties as per the Departmental roster.
* Must have good communication skills.
2. Mechanical Supervisor
MNT Carbon (Min. 10 Years Exp.):
Experience in smelter maintenance activities and work flow
* Good interdepartmental communication skill
* Good leadership skill
* Technical knowledge of the system and plant equipment.
* Familiar with smelter operations and its criticality.
* Familiar with MA planning process
* Good managerial skill to manage and lead the people for organization goal.
* Adhere to safety.
* Complaint to MA policy and procedures.
* Sharing the knowledge and mentoring the team members when required.
* Resource management.
* Cost saving approach to optimize the operational cost.
* Ability to motivate the people, for team inputs towards system improvement ideas.
Qualifications - B Tech / BE / Diploma in Engineering
