Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee all Operations of the business
- Direct reporting to Owners
- Financial reporting, scheduling
- Answer all phone inquiries and respond accordingly
- Answer all emails and follow up correspondence
- Scheduling and pay of employees / contractors
- Teaching yoga/meditation when needed
- Record keeping / maintenance of all necessary paperwork
- Any necessary emergency response management for things that come up at resort
- Ensuring that a safe and healthy environment exists for exercising
- Arriving to teach class in advance of the scheduled time to greet participants, answer questions and address concerns
- Dressing appropriately for teaching exercise classes
- Arriving well-prepared, music cued and routine thought out
- Knowing the names of participants who attend your classes
- Sharing educational information with your class participants
- Teaching classes with energy and enthusiasm
- Motivating class participants to the best of your ability
- Noting new participants and sharing basic exercise information with them
- Keeping up-to-date on safety and fitness trends
- Reporting any equipment/facility problems to the management team
- Begins and ends all classes on time.
- Ensures that class areas are clean and set according to procedures.
- Attends all scheduled meetings
- Attends schedules professional trainings.
- Other duties as assigned
- The yoga instructor ensures that each guest has an enjoyable, memorable, and safe yoga experience.
Mandatory Requirement:
Have the required level of English proficiency i.e. hold a valid passport issued by the UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, or the Republic of Ireland (and you are a citizen of that country) OR
- an IELTS test score of at least 5 in EACH test component OR
- an OET test score of at least B in EACH test component OR
- a TOEFL iBT overall test score of at least 35 (with a minimum of 4 for listening, 4 for reading, 14 for writing and 14 for speaking) OR
- a PTE test score of at least 36 in EACH test component OR
- a CAE test score of at least 154 in EACH test component
NOTE: In each case, the test must have been undertaken within the last three years.
You are exempt from this requirement if you have completed at least five years of full-time study in a secondary or higher education institution where all instruction was conducted in English. Other exemptions also apply to a limited set of applicants.
Qualifications:
- At minimum must have Yoga Training Certification
- Valid CPR Certification
- Valid Standard First Aid Certification
- At least two-year full time experience with Yoga Centre OR the part-time equivalent
- Must be well-organized and prepared to teach classes
- Must be in excellent physical condition to teach group exercise
- Must be able to think independently and develop routines for teaching specific exercise classes
- Must be able to keep confidences and practice discernment
Roles and Responsibilities
- Cleans the rooms
- Change guestroom and bathroom linen.
- Make guest room beds.
- Answer guest requests promptly on the floor.
- Responsible for collecting guest laundry.
- Servicing of rooms in the evening (turndown service) and also provide second service.
- Handover lost and found articles if any found in the room
- Replenish maids cart with supplies
- Arrange and stock the pantry with linen and supplies.
- Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
- Post caution signs. Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs.
- Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested.
- Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas, including debris, room service food and beverage trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash placed near Housekeeper carts. Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
- Move up and down a ladder. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.

- Diploma or Graduation in Hotel Management
- At least two-year full time experience with corporate housekeeping OR the part-time equivalent
- Excellent working knowledge of cleaning appliances and their operations and proper use of cleaning agents
- Attention to detail
- Physical strength and stamina to work extended periods
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
