Our Client, a Qatari Government-owned Oil & Gas Company has above opening for their ongoing projects.
Role offered on below terms
Contract hire
3 years renewable duration
Start date-1st May,2015
Rotation – 12 weeks on, 2 weeks off
Offer -Employment Visa, Residence Permit, Tax free day rate in US$+Monthly allowances for accommodation, local transport and for living expenses +flight tickets for mobilization/demobilization and for each rotation +comprehensive health insurance +married status option.
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Ensure all activities are undertaken in compliance with Company Safety, Health and Environment and Quality policies, regulations and standards.
•Assisting ICS security engineer in carrying out routine / non routine maintenance, installation and repair activities.
•Responsible for applying regular Microsoft patches and Antivirus signature update on windows systems.
•Carry out windows system installation and System cabinet wiring/ cabling as required
•Identify and resolve potential problems and escalates when necessary.
•Maintain tools and equipment in optimum condition.
•Attend to routine/emergency callouts outside working hours.
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Science or Diploma in Engineering with additional qualification on computer hardware / software/ networking
Experience: (Required)-Minimum 4 years
Technical Skills: (Required)
•Knowledge of Network fundamentals and working experience on Firewalls,Routers,switches, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory and Domain Controllers
•Working experience in applying Microsoft Windows patches and updating Antivirus signature files using Symantec or MacAfee including fresh Installation/deployment, configuration and troubleshooting
•Basic administration and troubleshooting skills on Windows Operating Systems for servers and workstations
•Hands on Experience with Windows system installation, System Restore & Backup, Upgrade (Migration), rebuilding servers and work stations and system hardening. Experience on Dell Power edge or HP chassis preferred
•Configuring server redundancy, RAID,NIC (Teaming) and TCP/IP settings
•Professional certification on Network Security and Microsoft Operating System is preferred.
•Experience in Process Control Systems like DCS, PLC(Foxboro, Emerson or Honeywell DCS) is an advantage
