Project Manager

Exp: 15 - 26 yrs.

• Communicate with the Client’s representatives continuously regarding Project Progress and areas of concerns.
• Participate in the planning and formulation of design alternatives and solutions for the construction project; provides conceptual estimates, feasibility studies, and cost estimates, and may coordinate the production of basic design plans and construction documents. 
• Develop and/or administer project budgets and fiscal controls, contracts, and quality control provisions; perform project cost estimating and value engineering, as appropriate. 
• Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day management of the construction project; monitor and coordinate work performed by architectural, engineering, and construction departments. 
• Review and interpret proposed designs, architectural drawings, and building specifications for appropriateness to required function and/or institutional standard, and initiates revisions where appropriate; advise consultants and clients as to how best to achieve required results. 
• Ensure that project operations are in compliance with design specifications and with client requirements. 
• Establish performance and delivery criteria, ensuring that client requirements are being met; prepare project specifications, and coordinates procurement, as appropriate. 
• Authorize the issuance of contracts, purchase orders, and change orders, and approves contractor invoices for payment. 
• Direct work sequencing to expedite project delivery and to minimize disruption of ongoing operations. 
• Inspects, approves, and accepts completed projects for the institution, ensuring conformance with institutional standards, building and life safety codes, and architectural/engineering specifications. 
• Represent the institution in business with customers, consultants, contractors, and other public and/or private agencies and organizations. 
• Researches and prepares various reports pertaining to operations, equipment, policies, procedures, and/or other issues, as appropriate.

Qualifications 
• A Graduate in Civil Engineering with not less than15 years’ of experience on Multi- Million Dollar projects. 
• • Has High Rise, Hotels and Mixed use Projects from Inception up to completion.
• Strong Management and communication.
• Demonstrates a determination, desire to succeed, finish the project on time with profit.
• Excellent numerical and communication skills


Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator

• Preparing tender and contract documents.
• Undertaking cost analysis for construction.
• Performing risk, value management and cost control;
• Advising on procurement strategy;
• Preparing and analyzing costing for tenders;
• Full range of quantity surveying duties of Estimation 
• Provision of pre and post contract project control and responsibility
• Monitoring all work executed, at all stages, to ensure that an accurate and professional service is offered 
• Guidance of team members in technical and contractual obligations and duties 
• Professional interface with other disciplines and the client's representative 
• To ensure the quality and timeliness of service delivery to clients
• Providing advice on contractual claims;
• Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports;
• Valuing completed work and arranging payments;
• Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use


• Civil Engineering Graduate with 5 Years’ experience in Estimation and Tendering of Civil construction projects 
• Experienced in Pricing and Taking out Quantity of Civil projects. Hands on experience in Pre-Post contracts works.
• Able to read and write English fluently. Proficient in MS Office and CAD


Project Engineer/ Site Engineer

• Responsible for daily construction activity of the site, coordinating with Project team, subcontractors and all concerned departments. Using all approved drawings and materials.
• Responsible for checking the method statements in consultation with project Manager and same should approved by Consultant for execution of work.
• Supervise the activities of the Site Engineer/ Foreman/ General Foreman and assist them to perform effectively
• Responsible for implementation to carry out the specified inspection / test in accordance with relevant Inspection & Test Plans, and ensure that Quality Records are maintained and signed - off by the Project Manager / Construction Manager / Consultants / Client. (Including the works of the Subcontractors.)
• Achieving theTarget given by the project team.
-Assist with the technical issue/s of the technical team as instructed and directed by the Project manager.
• Monitoring progress of work against construction programs and submission of required site reports in accordance with project reporting plan.
• Responsible for providing full support to the Project Manager with regular feedback of all information relating to project status with particular references to program, quality, variations, client issues and other relevant facts etc.
• Responsible for preparing records of allocation of resources labour rate analysis and cost control with consultation of Project Manager.
• Responsible for ensuring all surveying work i.e. building demarcation, levels & grids etc is carried out as required.
• Responsible for reviewing the performance of the site development, inspection of site work, Inspection of Supervisors, Foreman, staff and Labours and also initiate on job training programs according to demonstrated needs.

Planning Engineer

• Management of the project control team
• Establishing reporting protocols
• Reporting on and assisting the contractor on the integrity of all schedules.
• Maintaining the progress measurement systems by management.
• Reviewing for compliance all reports prepared by the contractor.
• Carrying out studies into scheduling, manning and material flow as needed.
• Setting and monitoring the tasks within the client’s service organisation.
• Attending offsite meetings as requested by the client.
• Reviewing schedules for slippage of key dates.
• Preparation of claim & time extension or major change to the schedule.
• Approving the monthly contractor reports and stated progress.
• Empowering each member of the planning team to fulfil their responsibilities.
• Developing and maintaining the project master schedules. Hands on experience in the preparation & approval of baseline program – clause 14.
• Overview of consultant or contractor schedule reviews.
• Schedule claims analysis.
• Providing information, technical support and guidance to all members of the project controls team.


• Bachelor's degree in engineering with hands on experience in P6 & P8 and power point.
• Experience in leading on construction projects and major civil programs of works
• Must possess not less than 10 years of total project controls experience.
• Effective IT and communication skills in report writing, presentations and holding effective conversations

• Be resilient with a “can do” attitude and able to work under pressure
• Be collaborative and able to work across regional and business boundaries
• Be focused on delivering to agree objectives and standards
• Assert independent views and challenge when appropriate
