Experience: 5 Years experience in Graphic Art And Decorating

Qualification: Vocational Technical Certificate in Graphic Art (3 Years)

Main role: To produce quality hand painted drawings and signs using graphics decorating techniques, according to clients specifications and requirements.

Responsibilities (Functional)

1. To carry out all sign drawing activities including setting graphics,cutting, measurement and planning, paint mixing, pajnt application, laminating etc to produce drawings which meet quality, schedule and clients requirements.

2. To liaise with various other departments to prioritise work and ensure correct supply of materials.

3 . To ensure materials and consumable stock levels are maintajned e.g paints, artwork, stencils, boards etc and if not available to notify supervisor and arrange supply.

4. . To ensure that all equipment, materials and work in progress are properly stored and kept in good condition.

5. . To ensure that all materials and work produced meet with design, production and clients specifications.

6. To report all equipment and materials faults to the supervisor immediately.

7. To maintain quaJity standards by checking all work before

passing to the next department.

8. To ensure that the work area is maintained in a safe, productive and efficient condition.

9. To ensure that all safety procedures are properly followed when working in hazardous conditions

1 To ensure records of materials usage and operational activities are

maintained accurately and completely

2. To work positively and efficiently as part of a team to maximise quality and productiveness.

3 . To contribute actively to all quality and training initiatives being undertaken by the company.

 Responsibilities (Financial)

1. To ensure minimum wastage of time and resources by maximising

efficiency and completing work orders in the most cost effective manner.

2. To ensure that materials and work in progress are stored under proper conditions to minimise wastage and resulting

variances in size, colour, shades etc.
